It was my second day on Maafushi Island, and I was exploring the local sights and sounds. Suddenly, I heard loud gunshots in the distance, and people started running in every direction. I quickly realized that something was wrong and decided to find out what was happening. I rushed towards the sound of gunshots and saw a group of armed men robbing a bank.

I was shocked and scared at the same time. I knew that the island had a all police station, but I wasn't sure how they could handle a situation like this. I decided to leave the area and find a safer place to stay for the night.

As I reached my hotel, I was informed by the hotel staff that a curfew had been imposed on the island until further notice. The staff also informed me that all the boats and ferries were suspended, and nobody could leave the island until the situation subsided.

I was worried about my safety and knew that I had to get out of the island as soon as possible. I started looking for alternative options, but everything seemed impossible. Finally, I found a local fisherman who was willing to take me to a nearby island where there were no signs of danger. I immediately booked a seat on the fisherman's boat and left for the island.
